Drinking Game Revisited

Rose and I revisited our Sci-Fi/Action/Disaster Movie Drinking Game while watching the TV movie, Vampire Bats.

In the process, we revised/added some rules:

- Evil politician
- Bad techno music
- Ammend blue screen rule to include bad computer generated effects (e.g. the bats crawling on the ceiling)
- "Trust me!"
- Someone needlessly repeats something for someone who was CLEARLY within earshot of the original speaker.
- Someone says, "Hand me [that thing that's as close to me as it is to you."
- Bad/pointless accent (BTW, it's Quint, not Quinn).
- Bad animatronic/puppet/stop-action character effect.
- Bad/jarring editing cuts.
- Creature Cam (shot from the evil's P.O.V.)!!!

MythTV missed recording the end of the movie due to a schedule change, so we moved on to creating a Maury Povich Drinking Game as well. Here are the rules we came up with for that one:

- Anyone gets out of his/her chair. Double drink if s/he runs backstage (flashbacks don't count - you'd die).
- Drink if furniture is overturned (can be added to above rule).
- A woman has a name with three or more sylables. Double if ends in vowel.
- Maury comforts/leans in close.
- The paternity test shows the father is not one of the girl's 'only' partners.
- Someone is MORE than 100% sure of something.
- A bouncer has to restrain someone.
- ANYONE (audience included) says/mouthes "Oh NO you dit-int!"
- REALLY fat girl in skimpy outfit.
- TRANSVESTITE!!!!/Drag queen/"female impersonator."
- Audience laughs at a guest (for his/her name (e.g. "Ghost."), fear (clowns), outift, etc.).
- Potential father can not be tested/appear due to incarceration.
- Hidden camera.
- You talk to the TV.
- Someone is EXTREMELY stupid/gullible (e.g. white guy of white couple thinks mixed-race baby is his).
- Guest goes 'batshit loony.'
- Assistant brings out baby.
- Someone affirms something by shaking his/her head 'NO!'

At one point during Maury, John and Wendy from The GabberJaW Show, as well as John's boss, Scott, joined us via Skype for some more drunk ramblings (check out their drunk show as well). I tacked the Skype call on the end so you can skip through if you don't want to listen. The recording quality is lackluster as I just set the iRiver on top of the laptop and their end was clipping through Skype as it was, but I believe it's listen-to-able. And amusing.
