Can You Believe. . .

. . . it's taken this long to get another comment spam? It wasn't very interesting. In fact, it didn't even pack a URL. Spammers must be taking the holidays off.

. . . it's Christmas already? Where the hell did '04 go? In ways, I'm glad to see it go. Overall, it sucked pretty hard as years go - at least in some spots. But luckily, it wasn't all bad. Maybe next week I'll do a year in review post, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

. . . if we were so inclined to take money from a good friend, we'd be getting $200 for shuttling a dog to Minnesota? As it is, maybe we'll accept enough for gas money, since we're heading that way anyway, and it's the giving Christmas season, and we owe this friend for a lot of help/favors in the past anyway.

. . . there was just a Paul Hardcastle song on the light/jazz station here at work - it sounded absolutely NOTHING like "19."

. . . I can not type 'just' without thinking really hard about it. Otherwise, I end up with 'jsut' pretty reliably.

. . . I got a Christmas/year-end bonus! It wasn't huge, and I know they're not entirely uncommon, but this is the first job that I've had where they were pretty regular. So I'm still getting used to the unbudgeted cash at the time I probably need it most. Sweet!

. . . I came up with this much babble? Ok, that's enough for now. A few more hours before the holiday weekend starts (and Amy's current job ends). Merry Christmas to all and to all a good day.
