Halloween
Per usual, Amy put together a kickass Halloween party. I was honored to be a part of throwing it, but all credit belongs to her. This year's theme was a do-it-yourself Haunted House. We split people into two teams and gave them each 45 minutes to decorate a different area of the house/yard. After that time, each team walked the other's 'house' and at the end voted for which was best. There were, of course, no losers. I (and a few others) took almost 200 pictures.
As you can see, costumes were great. People put a lot of effort into costumes and decorating yet still seemed to have fun, thus, the party was a success. It's funny, every year there's a sort of lottery to decide who gets to host the New Year's party. I can't think of when anyone's hosted a Halloween party besides me and/or Amy. We must rule or something. Or we're nuts.
could be the fact that I 'call' Halloween in june or thereabouts. sometimes I wonder if folks just don't have a chance to do throw their own party because I gobble up the holiday. But then I figure if anyone else realllllly wants to throw one, they'll lemme know, right? =)
