Martini at 4 Weeks

We saw the puppies again on Sunday and were treated to an excellent roast duck dinner to boot! The little chocolate blobs have turned into little brown dogs. They're eating and pooping and barking and playing with toys, and chewing on eachother, and figuring the big strange world out. Sunday was their first day moved into a new, bigger pen. They only spend a little time a few times a day with their mom now - and considering the little piranha teeth they've grown, it's a good thing for Nutmeg.
There's one slightly lighter-colored boy who's going to be a handful for someone. He's full of spunk and maybe even a little noisy. The big boy still looks like a little bear. He's going to be a big block-headed dog one day. The other male is fairly non-descript.
Of course, our Martini is the cutest! Although, we've determined she might not be the brightest, as she was easily distracted from chewing on her brothers by chewing on her own leg. Her face is still fairly squished in, so I think she's going to be a pretty blocky dog as well.
Three more weeks until we get to take her home. We've been questing to find plant stands to elevate all of our greenery out of the path of destruction she's sure to cut. We've picked up a few at thrift stores and Big Lots. We also got her a basket to keep all of her toys in - and she'd better pick up after herself!!!
