Martini at 3 Weeks

We can see! We can see!

This is the first picture we have after all of the puppies eyes and ears opened up. Our Martini is off on the right end.

We saw the pups again on Saturday, which was their 3-week birthday. They're turning into little dogs. Their world is still very small and focused mainly on mom and the milk she provides, but they can all walk around pretty well, which is amazing. During this week, they'll start transitioning over to solid puppy food and move over to a bigger pen since the current whelping pen won't be able to contain them for much longer. Our Martini is still a chow hound and while I can still pick her out by the wavy hair on her back, she's growing into her skin, so it's not as pronounced as it used to be. Her eyes were still very cloudy and blue, but that'll change soon.

At Sam's yesterday, we picked up a dog bed for her to make the hardwood floor in the living room a bit more bearable. It's huge, especially compared to how small she is now, so it'll be cute to see her crapped out in the middle of it.

Only 4 more weeks!!!
