Why Put Forth the Effort?

Some days, it's just not worth it.
It's not entirely narcissistic, you know!
The effort. The nerves. The gall.
A little something would be nice -
Something more than a grunt.
In some cases, even a grunt would be an improvement.
Show a sign.
Of life.
Of recognition.
Not looking for adoration.
Just acknowledgement.
Appreciation.
For the effort.
No. Not me.
Not talking about me.
I'm used to talking to walls.
I don't seem to have received the update-notification email for this post, yet. And, come to think of it, I think notification's been kinda spotty on the last few posts, too. Is your update-notification list having problems?
Luckily, I use blo.gs to watch for updates, too.

On the flying ones I don't bother because I figure no one really cares - the entries are more for me. But I guess you're on the notify list because you want to be notified, so I'll resume doing so.
BTW, BlogChangeBot, or whatever, seems to work for crap - not only on my site, but on others, too. I get notified about once every 5th change or so. If I issue the list command to it, it'll show the last change times for the sites, but it seldom barks at me if something's new. *shrug*
