Self-deprecation

I'm a slack, a hack, and just too whack. Here's the shizle. First the whack, in the form of an ObURL (note it's not MY whack): Check this out. I promise you'll laugh. At least a little. It was passed along by a former cow orker. Ammusive.

So, yeah, the slacking. I've not truly been slacking - I've been busy, but god knows with what. This week it's been work stuff. Last week, it was mostly playing with the GPS. I think I am going to return it for a Garmin, but I'm not 100% on that, so I'm draggin my heels. I'll probably keep this one until I scratch the screen or something, then I won't be able to return it, and then I'll be mad.

But instead of trying to recap the vast amounts of nothing that have filled the space since my last post, I'll tell you about my upcomming weekend.

A wedding.

My sister's.

Second.

In a duck blind.

Well, second wedding, but first wedding in a duck blind. She'll be wearing camo. She's requested the guests wear camo, or at the very least, casual. It'll be out of doors. A pig roast, even. It'll be a real hoot. No, really, I'm not being sarcastic. It's going to be fun.

The funny thing is that this will not be the first wedding I have attended in camo. And if shotguns are present at the wedding, that won't be a first either. No one ever accused my family (immediate or extended) of being boring. Or normal.

But enough on that for now, I'll try to post photos as they are available so you can see I'm not pulling your collective (that means both of you) leg.

On the work front, as of yesterday, I am certified to install mobile homes in the state of Illinois. Not licensed yet - need to get the certificate in the mail and send in $125 (or have my company send in $125). But after that (which should only take a few weeks), if you want a mobile home set in this fine land of Lincoln, I'm your man. Whoda thunk it.

Ok, that's it for now. Peace, yo.

Oh, and for the hack part, see above.
