TV just keeps getting worse, and we keep watching.

So after cleaning the birds and bunz and spending some quality time on the floor with them, I'm kickin' it on the couch, getting some rare potato time in. So what the crap is Who Wants to Marry My Dad? Just when I think TV can't get stranger, we have a show about 4 kids trying to hook their dad up? What the hell? And why am I still watching?

I've got excuses:
- I'm too tired and zoned to change the channel.
- I'm not really watching, it's just background noise.
- I can't find the remote.

But the fact of the matter is:
- It's a train wreck I can't stop watching.
- Some of the chicks are hot.
- In a way, it's funny as hell, especially with the "da-da-DUM" music.
- I'm trying to figure out WHO THE HELL IS DON MUELLER?

I'm thinking he's not a baseball player born in 1927, and probably not a geeky Assistant Professor.

Though it seems he's a spammer and/or telemarketer. That's how I take "mass-marketing," anyway. Now it all makes sense.

As much as it can, anyway.

Nye-night.

I'm sure nobody's surprised I am watching this....but it's one of those shows that is a train wreck so I can't stop watching, rather than a good show I enjoy....

this has only the most tangential relevance, in that you mentioned the bunz and this article is about designing an apt with bunnies in mind...http://www.nytimes.com/2003/07/20/realestate/20HABI.html

big kiss.

as for who wants to marry my dad....it's shows like this that make me happy I have tivo - so I can re-watch queer eye for the straight guy while everyone else is wondering "yeah, who the HELL wants to marry your dad?"

An article about a bunny and a Sedaris. Double plus good! The article makes my less ashamed to admit that we sacrificed an entire closet to give the rabbits a 'built-in' look. And speaking of the rabbits (and I think I've mentioned the birds at some point), I really should introduce them at some point. I was going to link to Anya earlier, but don't have any good pictures of her handy. Anyway, look for that soonish.

You are such a freak, buddy. I guess I do have that .gif out there somewhere. I'll have to dig it up. Ahh, the ol' Anya-cam/Bunny-cam days. . . .

BTW, thanks for being the first on my Notify list. You get a gold star. (Now what would be really cool is if I were clever enough to have MT put a gold star next to your name whenever you comment. . . .)

Uh, yeah. I noticed the utter lack of activity in my mail logs. I was hoping that you'd signed up AFTER a made that last post. I'll have to look into things. It might be a permissions thing. _I_ get mail from MT just fine, though. I've added an outside address to the list to see what happens next time I post something. Let me know if anything makes it through.

I've been meaning to start giving gold stars to my cow orkers. I'm already checking their work...
